Hand Side Stitched

A skilled upholsterer meticulously hand stitches the side panel of the mattress to the perimeter rows of springs. This process involves passing lines of cord through the mattress side, looping them around the side row of pocket springs, and then securing them back through the mattress side. The end result is a robust side wall attached to the spring unit. This is a highly skilled and labour intensive process and only found on the finest quality mattresses.
